Attorney George Gibbs is a founding partner and president of Gibbs Armstrong & Borochoff, P.C., in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Gibbs practices civil litigation defense, maritime law and personal injury law, serving clients throughout the Tulsa region. He has extensive knowledge and experience in these areas of law, particularly state, federal and insurance laws involving long-term care facilities and nursing homes.Mr. Gibbs has more than 30 years of litigation experience. Over the course of his career, he has litigated hundreds of nursing home cases in Oklahoma. In addition to nursing home litigation, he handles matters involving aviation, civil rights, contracts, insurance defense, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, toxic tort, transportation and wrongful death.Holding various legal roles, Mr. Gibbs serves as general counsel for LeadingAge Oklahoma, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving treatment of Oklahoma’s elderly population. He sits on the board of Baptist Village of Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel and the American Board of Trial Advocates.Mr. Gibbs earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and received his law license in 1986. He holds an active license in Oklahoma and Arkansas and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
