ELIZABETH L.A. GARVISH is the Founder and Managing Member of Garvish Immigration Law Group, LLC. She specializes in all areas of employment based and family based immigration matters with a focus on medical immigration matters including all issues facing foreign medical graduates and their employers. Ms. Garvish is also active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) as a speaker and author and is currently the Immediate Past Chair of the Georgia-Alabama Chapter. She serves and has served on the AILA National Military Assistance Program Committee, the Fundamentals Conference Committee, the Distance Learning Committee and the Annual Conference Committee. She also served for many years as the local Coordinator of AILA’s national Citizenship Day Naturalization Drive, and was recognized for her development of this program on a local level as the recipient of the State Bar of Georgia’s H. Sol Clark Pro Bono Award in 2008. She was also selected as the 2015 AILA Champion of the Year by the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network. She earned her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.
