David W. Kirch is the founding and managing partner of Kirch Rounds Bowman & Deffenbaugh PC and has concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and probate litigation for over 40 years. Mr. Kirch has been a lecturer on trusts and estates at the University of Denver Law School. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from California Lutheran College and his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado where he was a member of The Order of the Coif. Mr. Kirch has been co-editor of the Estate and Trust Forum of the Colorado Lawyer since 1998. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Mr. Kirch is past chairman of the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association and past chairman of the Statutory Revisions Committee of the Probate and Trust Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He served as the liaison between the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association and the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association from 2009 to 2019.
