- Danny V. Butler ("Dan") is the founder and principal attorney of Butler Law. With law firms located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Dan provides a variety of legal services to people and businesses in Horry and Georgetown Counties and the state's coastal areas. In his estate planning practice, Dan regularly prepares and reviews wills, financial and health proxies, and living, nonprofit and irrevocable trusts to preserve and protect his clients' assets. He also handles estate administration matters, including will competitions and other estate matters. Dan has dealt with personal injury and unlawful death litigation, and has assisted customers who have suffered economic and non-economic losses due to the negligence or recklessness of other people or organizations in the motorcycle and motorcycle industry and other motor vehicle accidents. His other court experiences included breaches of contract and disputes between partners and shareholders. Dan also has a business law practice. In this context, he advises clients interested in starting a new business, including the selection of the most suitable legal entity. Dan's office then submits the required documents and helps comply with other legal requirements. Among other things, Dan prepares employment contracts, purchase, sale and operating contracts as well as business contracts. As a student, Dan attended Furman University, where he studied economics, and received his Bachelor of Arts in 2001, magna cum laude. He then attended Wake Forest University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2004. Dan also holds a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. Dan is licensed in South Carolina and registered in the US District Court for the South Carolina District.
