- Christopher Caputo was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1994. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton and a PhD from the University of Oklahoma City Law School. In 1994, Attorney Caputo was sworn in as assistant district attorney for Lackawanna County, and thereafter he was appointed assistant district attorney from 1994 to 2003 to lead the Lackawanna United Drug Enforcement Team. While serving as an assistant district attorney, Attorney Caputo tried, investigated, and directed hundreds of criminal investigations and prosecutions, including capital murder prosecution, murder prosecution, conspiracy to prosecute murder, and attempted murder prosecution. In addition to handling and reviewing complex criminal investigations and matters, Attorney Caputo has been sworn in as the United States Special Assistant to investigate organized criminal activity in Lackawanna County. He has also been sworn in as the Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania overseeing wiretapping and criminal prosecution of drug trafficking in Lackawanna County. Attorney Caputo joined the O'Malley Harris Durkin & Perry law firm in 2003 and was part of a litigation team representing doctors and hospitals accused of professional or business negligence. In addition, Attorney Caputo represented townships, real estate companies, and large corporations on multi-million dollar claims as part of the litigation team. In 2007, Attorney Caputo joined Attorney Mariotti and soon founded Caputo & Mariotti, where he devoted his practice to protecting the rights of those seriously injured and violated through the negligence of others. He also handles matters related to insurance claims in bad faith and has successfully led legal disputes against insurance companies who have denied customer claims for personal injury and catastrophic property loss. Since 2007, Attorney Caputo has successfully negotiated, negotiated and / or settled hundreds of personal injury and malicious intent cases, receiving millions in compensation for his client's damages and losses.
