A co-founder of Becker & Lee LLP, Christina H. Lee focuses her practice exclusively on immigration law. The daughter of Korean immigrants and fluent in that language, she represents clients throughout California and across the country from the firm's offices in Oakland. Admitted to practice in California and before several federal courts, she is highly regarded by her fellow professionals for her successful track record and superb ethics and has received an "Excellent" peer-review rating through Avvo.Ms. Lee's experience has included employment-based immigration, and she has represented both companies and professional workers in matters involving H-1B and other temporary work visas, EB-1 visas for people who possess what is deemed "extraordinary ability" in education, the arts, business or other designated fields, and B-1 temporary business visitor visas. Her family-based practice has covered fiancee visas, marriage-based green cards and naturalization, and she has provided advice and counsel to people who are facing deportation and removal or who are seeking asylum. During her career, Ms. Lee has appeared before the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, and several other federal tribunals.Ms. Lee attended Barnard College in New York City as an undergraduate, where she majored in economics and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. Her legal education was obtained at the University of California Davis School of Law, and she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2003. Immediately prior to co-founding Becker & Lee LLP in January 2013, Ms. Lee had her own immigration law firm. Active in several professional organizations, she acts on behalf of the Northern California Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association as a co-liaison to the San Francisco Immigration Court on matters involving the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
