John L. The coalition is evaluating the effectiveness of and considering proposals for amendments to the Louisiana Medical Malpractice Act. Mr. Hammons is also active in several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Louisiana Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics.

He works at Cook, Yancey, King & Galloway, located in Shreveport, Louisiana, and provides legal services for issues involving Business Litigation and Professional Liability and personal injury matters. Herschel Richard, Jr. completed legal studies at Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and graduated with the class of 1970. Herschel Richard, Jr. passed the bar in 1970.
