Bryan Boender is a partner in the law firm Boender, Coit & Payment, Attorneys, LLC in Eugene, Oregon. Considered one of the top litigation attorneys in the region, Mr. Boender dedicates his practice primarily to criminal defense and representing students who are subject to disciplinary hearings for violations of the Code of Conduct, including violations of sexual offenses. He also has extensive experience handling personal injury claims and the rights and claims of U.S. veterans. In all cases, Mr. Boender is fully committed to protecting the basic civil rights and freedoms of his clients and has built a reputation as a tenacious trial attorney who aggressively pursues the best possible outcomes for those he serves. As a U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Boender pays special attention to those who have served our country, and he started one of the state's first free legal hospitals. During his legal training, Mr. Boender served solely as a JAG-certified court clerk with the Oregon Army National Guard where he prosecuted cases of violations of military justice. After graduating from Seattle University in 1998, Mr. Boender attended Rutgers University for a Masters of Science degree in 1998. He then served actively with the 82nd Airborne Division's 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment and completed a 15-month mission in Afghanistan. He then returned to the United States and enrolled at the University of Oregon School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor in 2012. He was selected as a Tillman Military Scientist by the Pat Tillman Foundation and received the Nicole Richardson Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award. He received his license to practice from the Oregon State Bar in 2012. He is admitted to the US District Court for the District of Oregon, the US Appeals Court for the 9th Circuit, the US Supreme Court, and the US Appeals Court for Veterans Claims.
