Benjamin J. Baer is an associate at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based The Law Firm of Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky PC. He focuses his practice exclusively on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death cases, helping clients throughout the state who have suffered harm due to the negligence of other parties. The types of matters he handles include construction and other work site accidents and products liability.Mr. Baer is a 2003 graduate of the University of Michigan, where he majored in political science and government and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Baer won the Murray S. Love Mock Trial Competition and served a clerkship with the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He also received an individual award as the top student in trial advocacy. After he graduated, Mr. Baer joined the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office where, as an assistant district attorney, he was lead counsel in more than 15 jury trials and the sole prosecutor in well over 100 bench trials. Mr. Baer joined his current firm in 2012.Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Mr. Baer is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
