- Arthur F. Silverblatt, owner of Silverblatt & DeCosmo, is a family law attorney handling high net worth divorces. He has represented clients in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, and Hazelton, Pennsylvania on alimony and spousal support, child custody, child support, complex asset sharing, relocation, divorce, prenuptial agreements, fair distribution and the rights of grandparents. Previous clients gave him an Avvo rating of “Excellent”. Mr. Silverblatt was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1978 and has spent his entire career helping clients overcome the complex and emotional issues of family law. He began his career in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hiram College and then attended Widener University's Delaware Law School. In 1978 he received his Juris Doctor. With over three decades of experience, Mr. Silverblatt extends his services to the counties of Northampton, Schuylkill, Bradford, Colombia, Susquehanna, Carbon, Monroe, Montour, Lackawanna, Wayne, Pike, Wyoming and Lucerne. Silverblatt is a member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association and a member of the family law departments of these organizations. He chairs the Family Law Committee of the Luzerne County Bar Association and is a member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. In addition to lecturing on family law issues for the National Business Institute and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Mr. Silverblatt has published in the Bar Registry of Outstanding Lawyers and has participated in WVIA-TV, virtual channel 44's family law discussion.
