McKinney School of Law at Indiana University in 1975. While attending law school, James clerked at the Indianapolis law firm of Stewart & Irwin, P.C. He practiced law at Stewart & Irwin from 1976 — 2013. In 2013 he relocated his practice to Katz Korin Cunningham.The primary focus of his practice has been medical malpractice defense.
