McKinney School of Law at Indiana University in 1975. While attending law school, James clerked at the Indianapolis law firm of Stewart & Irwin, P.C. He practiced law at Stewart & Irwin from 1976 — 2013. In 2013 he relocated his practice to Katz Korin Cunningham.The primary focus of his practice has been medical malpractice defense. He has represented physicians, dentists and their groups throughout the state of Indiana.
