As a partner at Oliver Family Law, Lauren Leffler represents clients in the Columbia, Maryland, metropolitan area and the surrounding communities. She handles legal issues related to family law, mediation and collaboration, probate and estate trust disputes and estate planning. She has received Clients' Choice awards from Avvo in the areas of trusts, probate and estate planning.During her career, Ms. Leffler has worked with a variety of government agencies including the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the United States Department of State and the White House. She is admitted to practice in the state of Maryland and while she strives to negotiate disputes outside of court, she is fully prepared to litigate if it is what is best for her clients.Ms. Leffler attended Washington College, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Now she combines her unique experience with her extensive knowledge to advise clients on state and federal tax consequences and various estate planning tools.Ms. Leffler voluntarily supports the community around her, and routinely volunteers at the family law clinic at the Circuit Court for Howard County. To improve the legal profession and community, she is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association, the Howard County Bar Association. Ms. Leffler serves as Vice President of the Howard County Collaborative Professionals and a board member of the Howard County Estate Planning Council.
