She spent almost 15 years as chair of the Family & Juvenile Law Section for the Maryland State Bar Association and was also the chairperson of the Baltimore County Bar Association’s family law committee. She developed the Family & Juvenile Law Section’s mentoring program and is member of Women’s Bar Association.
