Attorney Richard W. Vieth brings decades of experience in Henderson, Brandt & Vieth, P.A., serving people in Spartanburg, Union, Gaffney and Greenville, South Carolina. The native citizen has handled countless personal injury cases on topics such as motor vehicle accidents as well as criminal law issues such as DUI, drug offenses, and federal crimes. Mr. Vieth has tried cases in both state and federal courts and is a fierce opponent in litigation. In fact, he was an attorney on the first federal arson case involving the death penalty. He is also known for his negotiation skills and his ability to find a fair solution. Vieth earned a Bachelor of Arts and graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College with honors. He then attended the law school of the University of South Carolina and graduated in 1975 with a Juris Doctor. From 1969 to 1974, Mr. Vieth served in the US Navy. Today, Mr. Vieth is a member of the American Bar Association and licensed to practice in South Carolina. He previously served as an instructor at Spartanburg Methodist College and took an active role at the South Carolina Bar.
