Brenda F. Rioles, Attorney at Law, is the owner and sole proprietor of the Rioles Law Firm, a law firm serving the greater Providence, Rhode Island, community, and surrounding counties on a wide range of family law matters. Ms. Rioles is committed to compassionate and thorough representation in divorce and separation cases for same-sex and heterosexual couples. pre- and post-marital agreements; complex divorce division and distribution of marital property; Custody and visit; Adoption; Transfer of custody; Youth defense and protection; injunctions and other matters related to domestic violence; In addition to her practice, Ms. Rioles has devoted her time to lecturing and writing on family law issues in the state of Rhode Island. Her work includes a chapter she recently authored for an edition of A Practical Guide to Divorce in Rhode Island. Rioles was admitted to the bar in the Rhode Island courts in 1986. In 1988 she was also admitted to the bar in the California state courts. She is dedicated to continuously deepening her knowledge in order to better serve her clients and regularly takes part in seminars on family law topics. Rioles completed her undergraduate studies at Rhode Island College and earned her law degree from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated with honors. She is currently a member of the Family Court Bench / Bar Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Ms. Rioles has also served as President of the Edward P. Gallogly American Inn of Court, a Rhode Island legal organization dedicated to promoting the knowledge, professionalism, and ethics of the state bank and bar.
