- Allyson Dow is an attorney at Henry & Dow in Norman, Oklahoma. Ms. Dow concentrates her practice on family law and serves clients in Norman and throughout the Oklahoma City region in matters involving divorce, child custody and other family and domestic related matters.Ms. Dow is the lead attorney for Henry & Dow’s Oklahoma City office. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and human resource management from the University of Oklahoma and went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.While attending law school, Ms. Dow was a member of the dean’s honor roll and was named “family law student of the year.” She gained legal experience through serving as a research assistant for a professor. Following law school, she passed the Oklahoma bar examination and has been licensed to practice law in Oklahoma since 2012.In addition to serving her family law clients, Ms. Dow is actively involved in her legal community. She authored a family law practice manual and regularly attends continuing legal education seminars and trainings. She is significantly engaged in furthering her professional development and leadership skills, which she has done by participating in the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Trial Advocacy Institute and the Roger Dodd Trial Skills clinic.Ms. Dow is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s family law section and previously served as chair, social chair. She is also a member of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inns of Court and the Cleveland County Bar Association, where she served as new member chair.
