In her time, she has dedicated her practice to representing her clients statewide in New Jersey, including in Hudson, Essex, Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Bergen and Morris counties.Ms. Makrogiannis is committed to her clients. She brings a hands-on approach to her law practice, priding herself on strong advocacy on behalf of her clients. She is available when her clients need her, and she focuses on moving her clients' family law matters along quickly as she understands they are difficult for the people involved. She focuses her practice in the area of family law, advocating on behalf of her clients in divorce, custody, equitable property division, prenuptial agreements, child support and domestic violence cases. In addition, her practice includes municipal court matters, real estate transactions and general litigation.In 2000, Ms. Makrogiannis pursued her undergraduate education at New Jersey City University, where she was on the Dean's List and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in criminal justice. She then went on to pursue a professional degree in law. She attended New York Law School and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2003. She has been admitted to practice in New Jersey since 2003 and in New York since 2004. In addition, Ms. Makrogiannis is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is also an active member of a number of professional organizations. For example, she holds a membership with the New Jersey State Bar Association and serves as an Officer for the Hudson County Bar Association and is the co-chair of the Hudson County Bar Association, Family Commitee.
