In addition to representing clients in a wide variety of civil disputes, Mr. Ross has defended judicial and lawyer matters before the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board, the Louisiana Judiciary Commission, and the Louisiana Supreme Court. His published cases include Russo v. Burns, 147 So. 3d 1111 (La. 2014) and In re Clark, 145 So. 3d 261 (La. 2014). A native of Hammond, Louisiana, Mr. Ross graduated summa cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1997. Mr. Ross went on to attend Tulane Law School, where graduated summa cum laude in 2000 and received the Faculty Medal for finishing first in his class. While in law school, Mr. Ross served as a Managing Editor on the Tulane Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Mr. Ross returned to Tulane Law School in 2003 to serve as an instructor in the Trial Advocacy Program. In 2013, Mr. Ross became a professor on Tulane Law School’s Adjunct Faculty and currently teaches Louisiana Civil Procedure, a subject tested on the Louisiana Bar Examination. Mr. Ross has delivered dozens of presentations on issues of legal ethics at continuing legal education programs sponsored by organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, the Louisiana Association for Justice, and Association for Women Attorneys. Since 2006, Mr. Ross has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Rules of Professional Conduct Committee, which functions in an advisory capacity to the Louisiana Supreme Court. He is also the current Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Publications Subcommittee that issues public opinions on legal ethics matters through the Louisiana Bar Journal. Mr. Ross is admitted to practice in all Louisiana courts, both state and federal, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
