- As one of the founding partners of Buckley Beal, LLP, Edward D. Buckley provides dedicated legal representation to clients in Atlanta, Georgia, and the surrounding areas. He focuses his practice on labor and employment law.Mr. Buckley has arbitrated, mediated or taken to trial cases that involve the following matters: overtime cases, wage and hour cases, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, race and color discrimination, religious discrimination, sex discrimination, national origin discrimination, disability discrimination, age discrimination, family and medical leave, state law torts, executive compensation, employment agreements and severance agreements, noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements, retaliation, whistleblower claims, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act issues and workers’ compensation claims.After earning an undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston, Mr. Buckley went on to attend Emory University School of Law and graduated with a law degree in 1983.Over the course of his career, Mr. Buckley has built a reputation as being a champion for his clients and their rights. He has achieved high rates of success in obtaining positive resolutions for his clients, including winning a number of multimillion-dollar verdicts. He formerly served as the chair of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section and as president of the National Employment Lawyers Association – Georgia Chapter. He is the author of numerous legal articles, papers and a book chapter on topics relating to employment and labor law. Mr. Buckley has also conducted numerous seminars across the nation for employee rights and consumer groups.
