As partner at Orshan, Spann & Fernandez-Mesa, Steven P. Spann is a family law and appellate attorney serving the people of the Miami, Florida, metropolitan area. While in law school, he was a finalist in the Samuel Polsky Competition – the school’s appellate advocacy competition. After graduation, he spent 15 years in higher education administration.Mr. Spann was recognized for participating in the Integrated Trial Advocacy Program of his law school and was given the Outstanding Trial Advocacy award. A former employee of Barry University and the University of Miami, he is a member of The Florida Family Law American Inn of Court and The Florida Bar. His volunteer experiences extend to service on the board of directors for the Rotary Club of Coral Gables.
