Admitted to practice in Colorado since 1994, Mr. Rodriguez is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.In his eminent domain practice, Mr. Rodriguez has represented property owners, developers, landlords, and public entities in private and public condemnation proceedings. His public clients have included the Colorado Department of Transportation, school districts, Denver and other cities, and Douglas, El Paso and Denver counties. His real estate litigation practice has encompassed foreclosures, boundary disputes, mechanic's liens, quiet title proceedings, and property tax disputes. Rodriguez has delivered numerous presentations on eminent domain topics at continuing legal education seminars and other professional groups, and he has had several articles published in Colorado Lawyer, which is the monthly journal of the Colorado Bar Association. He is also the author of the Colorado portion of a compendium on nationwide eminent domain laws that is an American Bar Association publication. Mr. Rodriguez is a member of several legal organizations, including the Colorado and Denver bar associations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law.
