Robert Dieringer is an estate and elder law attorney with Green Bryant & French, LLP. Mr. Dieringer focuses his practice on estate planning, will and trust contests, fiduciary representation, conservatorships, and long-term care advocacy.Mr. Dieringer’s leadership roles include Chair of the Elder Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association and Board Member of the Probate Attorneys of San Diego. Mr. Dieringer is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform, Legal Information Network.Mr. Dieringer is also a Bilingual Court-Appointed Attorney for the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, having been determined to be proficient in Spanish at a level of “Intermediate High” under the guidelines adopted by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, California Oral Proficiency Exam, and Judicial Council’s Court Language Access Support Program.Mr. Dieringer is active in the California legislature, having co-authored, through the California Conference of Bar Associations, the following laws: Resolution 06-01-2016, “Replacement of Dementia with Major Neurocognitive Disorder,” adopted as (2017) SB 413 by Senator Mike L. Morrell (R-Rancho Cucamonga) and signed into law by Governor Brown on July 24, 2017; and Resolution 02-11-2014, “Termination of Dementia Powers,” adopted as (2015) AB 436 by Assemblymember Brian W. Jones (R-Santee) and signed into law by Governor Brown on August 13, 2015.Mr. Dieringer is a graduate of the University of San Diego, School of Law, and Colgate University, cum laude.Mr. Dieringer is married to his wife Monica. They have been best friends since high school. They have two wonderful kids, Frankie and Noah, and three troublesome dogs, Griffin, Max, and Benjamin.
