With a passion for helping others, Mika Domingo is Founder and Managing Partner of M.S. Domingo Law Group. She represents people throughout California in matters involving Probate and Trust Litigation, Probate Administration, Trust Administration, Estate Planning, and Auto Collision. She is also an Adjunct Professor at John F. Kennedy University College of Law and San Francisco Law School teaching Wills & Trusts, Legal Methods and Exam Skills, and enjoys guest lecturing at various schools in the Bay Area.Ms. Domingo cares deeply about her clients, and understands their situations. Prior to becoming an attorney, she was a financial auditor and owned a publishing firm where she was also editor-in-chief. Her understanding of her clients' situations helps her relieve the emotional stress and anxiety that accompany legal proceedings. Ms. Domingo is extremely experienced in the courtroom, having served as Deputy Attorney General with the U.S. Department of Justice. She is a strong and effective advocate for her clients in the courtroom as well as in negotiations. She has appeared at the state, appellate, and federal courts on issues of constitutional law, tort matters, and civil rights.Ms. Domingo holds Associate Degrees in Business and Accounting and received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. She earned a Juris Doctorate with honors in 2012 from the John F. Kennedy University College of Law and completed her continuing education in Publishing at Stanford University.Among her many accolades, Ms. Domingo has received the Public Interest Award from the California Bar Foundation, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award, the Robert G. Mc Grath American Inn of Court Scholarship, the Minority Bar Coalition Unity Award, and the Contra Costa County Bar Association’s Platinum and Gold Diversity Awards. She also holds an Avvo “Superb” rating.Highly involved in the legal community, Ms. Domingo serves as Secretary for the Contra Costa County Bar Association Board and is on her third year as Chair of the Diversity Committee. She was Past President of the Contra Costa County Bar Association's Women's Section. She also served on the State Bar of California's Committee of Bar Examiners for four years. An active member of the California Women Lawyers (CWL), she currently serves as CWL's At-Large Governor and serves on her fourth year as Co-Chair of the Judicial Evaluations Committee. She also served as Director of the Women Lawyers of Alameda County Board and serves as a member of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California, the Robert G. McGrath American Inn of Court, Queen's Bench of San Francisco and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
