Tanya is able to settle cases amicably when possible for her clients but is a competent litigator when necessary in the courtroom. Tanya also does Guardian Ad Litem work, including taking on pro bono cases, representing parties in dissolution cases that have been determined to be incompetent. Tanya has been appointed as a Parent Coordinator/Decision Maker in order to assist clients in creating a harmonious co-parenting relationship in the best interst of their children. Tanya's social work background lends itself to this rewarding work. Tanya enjoys working with clients that are unable to afford legal services, as she is very committed to her work with Metro Volunteer Lawyers. Tanya has served on the Board of Directors since 2017. Tanya wrote an article in support of volunteer work which was published in the The Docket in the June/July 2019 publication called "Five Reasons for You to Take a Pro Bono Case".
