Melissa Fuller Brown is a founding attorney and director of Melissa F. Brown, LLC, a family law firm based in Charleston, South Carolina. Ms. Brown handles all kinds of family law matters, including divorce, alimony, alimony, custody, enforcement, fair asset sharing, amendment proceedings, prenuptial agreements, prenuptial agreements, visits, and more. Brown has over 26 years of experience serving clients across South Carolina, but most notably in the Greater Charleston area. She is a Fellow at the International Academy of Family Lawyers and has handled several cases related to international custody issues and asset sharing abroad. Ms. Brown is a published author of numerous family law articles in state and national journals and legal reviews. Brown received her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, where she participated in the prestigious American Studies Program. She received her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Before setting up her own law firm, she worked as a court clerk, worked as an assistant solicitor and worked for 6 years as a family law assistant in a private law firm.
