Christine Tour-Sarkissian is a founding partner of Tour-Sarkissian Law Offices located in San Francisco, California. Her primary areas of practice include real estate law, including transactions and litigation, and family law, in which she has been certified as a specialist by the State Bar of California. Ms. Tour-Sarkissian handles construction contracts and litigation, mortgage and foreclosure issues, complex real estate transactions, pre and postnuptial agreements, custody and visitation matters, child and spousal support, complex business valuation cases and international child kidnapping and custody matters. She also handles general business litigation and represents clients throughout the State of California.After earning her Bachelor of Arts cum laude in psychology from the University of San Francisco in 1980, Ms. Tour-Sarkissian graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1984 with a Juris Doctor. She later re-enrolled at that institution and received a Master of Laws in taxation in 2004. She is the Family Law Editor of the Continuing Education of the Bar Real Property Journal. She is admitted to practice in both California and the District of Columbia. In addition to English, Ms. Tour-Sarkissian speaks several other languages French, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish and Armenian.As a member of both the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, Ms. Tour-Sarkissian owns and operates her own real estate business. She is a member of the Real Property, Trusts and Estates Section of the American Bar Association and the Real Property Section of the State Bar of California. As an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law, Ms. Tour-Sarkissian taught courses on various legal and financial matters in the real estate sector.
