After 15 years of working in early childhood education with both children and their parents, Ann E. Bauer has a deep understanding of how difficult family law cases can be. She handles all matters of family law at The Center for Family Law in Missouri. A member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Collaborative Family Law Association, Ms. Bauer is qualified to handle cases that are settled through mediation or negotiations, but is also prepared to take a case to trial when necessary.Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ms. Bauer earned a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University and a Master of Education from the Erikson Institute of Child Development at Loyola University. After an enriching career, she changed her focus from psychology to law and earned a Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in 1994. Ms. Bauer has also served on parenting coordination task forces and as guardian ad litem in St. Louis County Family Court for children in situations of domestic violence, and has volunteered for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.Ms. Bauer’s areas of focus include all matters of family law such as protective orders, adoption and juvenile law, paternity, divorce and legal separation, child support and custody, estate planning, guardianship and conservatorship, and small business matters.
