- From his San Diego, California, office, Ajay Gupta of the Gupta Legal Center focuses his practice on foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings, business law and civil litigation. His firm also helps clients throughout the San Diego metropolitan area in real estate and personal injury matters. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Chinese, economics and psychology from the University of Michigan in 1997, Mr. Gupta went on to attend the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2005. Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Gupta was an associate handling real estate matters at a San Diego law firm for two years before founding the Gupta Legal Center in 2008. Mr. Gupta is licensed to practice throughout the state of California, and he is a member of The State Bar of California, the San Diego County Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association of San Diego, where he has served as a member of its board and as its secretary. The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization has certified him as a specialist in bankruptcy law. Highly regarded by his fellow professionals, Mr. Gupta has received a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. The San Diego County Bar Association granted Mr. Gupta its leadership award in 2010, and he has served as co-chair of its Bankruptcy Law Section since 2010. Freely sharing his knowledge with others, he has lectured and written on a variety of bankruptcy topics. A director of several companies unrelated to his legal practice, Mr. Gupta is a member of The Indus Entrepreneurs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs and giving back to the community. We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
